1. Lace
Red loves this shirt and lace scarf. I think it really makes her red hair "pop".
2. Bling
For her birthday, Red got these Clemson nail wraps. She absolutely adores having her nails all "bling"ed out.
3. Wood
We were out at the soccer fields, and I saw this matchbox car on top of the wooden frame of the concession stand.
4. Fuzzy
Buddy is our fuzzy friend. No, he's not chewing on Soccer Girl's hand. She's holding his bone.
5. Fabric
My aunt made this quilt for Little Red when she was born. Actually, she made quilts for all of the kids, but this one was the perfect one for the "fabric" theme. Each of the colored fabric pieces in this quilt were scraps from other items she made. There are pieces from maternity jumpers she made me when I was pregnant with The Boy, other quilts she made for our family, clothes she made for my mom. Wonderful memories are sewn in this quilt.

For an artist, those fingernails are great! You can just sit and admire your nails all day :D Caitlin looks so pretty with her red hair and blue lace scarf!
ReplyDeleteNicely captured images. There is something about little girls and bling that just go together. I've got a grand daughter that loves her bling.
ReplyDeleteYou can't get more Bling than those fingernails! Love them!
