This week's prompts, while looking simple, actually were very difficult for me. I wanted to think outside the box, challenge myself, not take boring shots. I'll let you decide if they're boring or not.
1. Basket
Both Little Red and Sassy Pants are playing basketball this fall. I took this shot while Sassy was practicing shooting.
2. Park
The weather here at the beginning of the week was wonderful, so I really should have taken the small people to the park to get the shot for this. Alas, I did not.
3. Auto
My mom bought this car in 1999, right after my dad passed away. When my mom passed in 2005, I inherited the car. Robb uses it to get back and forth to work, and it has been a great little car.
4. Recycle
Water bottles waiting to be recycled.
5. People Watching
I don't really do a lot of people watching; it makes me feel stalker-ish. So instead I took a picture of one of the small people watching television.
Love your basketball shot. I went with an actual basket for my picture. I felt original! I took a picture of people at my daughters basketball game. I tried to be sneaky with my phone, but I felt kinda stalkerish too!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I won't tell you how many pictures I took trying to get just the right moment of the ball going into the net. LOL
DeleteI thought your shot from your daughter's basketball game was great. It wasn't focused on any one person, which is what I was afraid I would end up doing.
ah... don't you love watching children? their expressions... smiles... nice basketball shot. I've noticed a lot of SHS participants attending basketball games.
ReplyDeleteYes, watching my children provides me such joy, especially their smiles. I also noticed a lot of basketball-related shots in the SHS posts this week. I guess 'tis the season. LOL
DeleteI thought this week was a difficult one. I can just imagine how many tries to get that shot with the ball going in. You did a great job with all of them!!
ReplyDeleteHappy hunting next week! :-)
Thank you! There were some difficult prompts; next week's looks almost as daunting. It did take several tries to get the perfect shot of the ball and the net.
ReplyDeleteNot boring at all. I do agree that some were hard and I had to resort to archive pictures. I like your basket interpretation and shot. Also the adorable People watching shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I appreciate the kind words.
DeleteWhat a great challenge! You know I love your blog. As a matter of fact, I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award! http://www.mamamakingchanges.com/2013/01/the-versatile-blogger-award.html
