Alphabet Art - Apples

This year, I had planned to teach an Alphabet Art class at our homeschool co-op. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately - haha!), there was another really awesome class offered for 4k-5k for that same time slot, and not enough children signed up for mine. So I'm teaching something different this year, which is fine.

Sassy Pants, however, was devastated that I wasn't going to teach Alphabet Art because she had really wanted to take that class and do the art projects I had planned. So I decided we should do the projects together this year - just her and me.

We're going to work our way through the alphabet, doing art projects for each letter.

Torn-Paper Apples

Supplies:
red construction paper
paper plate
brown or black pipe cleaner
glue

Tear construction paper into small pieces. Glue onto the paper plate, overlapping pieces. Add pipe cleaner for a stem.

She also decorated the inside of the letter "a" with apples.
