D.E.A.R. Monday (Drop Everything and Read) - Week of January 4

I'm starting a new weekly feature that will hopefully get me (and you) reading more in 2016.

Way back when I was teaching in a classroom, we would have D.E.A.R. time - Drop Everything And Read. I decided to bring this D.E.A.R. time to the Pee Dee Mama space.

Every Monday will be D.E.A.R. Monday, where I will share what I've finished reading, what I'm currently reading, and what's up next on my TBR list.

What I've Finished Reading:

Absolutely nothing. I've been slack, but I'm trying to get back into reading again.

What I'm Currently Reading:

For Myself - The Inner World of Abraham Lincoln by Michael Burlingame
This is a biography of Abraham Lincoln, focusing on the psychology of why he acted the way he acted and believed what he believed.

With the Small People - Treasures of the Snow by Patricia St. John
This is our read-aloud book. This story is about two children who are enemies. Annette ridicules Lucien at school so he attempts to get back at her through her younger brother, but things go terribly wrong. Annette becomes filled with rage against Lucien, while Lucien seeks to repent and make things right.

Up Next on my TBR List:

For Myself - Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible: Flawed Women Loved by a Flawless God by Liz Curtis Higgs

What have you read lately? What are you reading now? Share in the comments and join me as we Drop Everything And Read.
