Blunders - A Game Review

I recently was given the opportunity to review Blunders, a manners game from Patch Products. With 5 small people who don't always use their best manners, I thought this game would be a great way to reinforce what I have been trying to teach them.

About the game

Blunders was invented by etiquette expert Aimee Symington. Aimee has built a career around teaching everyday manners to children, and she is passionate about helping families teach their little ones to be kind and polite to others. She believes equipping children early with manners’ know-how will not only set them up for success later in life but will also help them be more compassionate toward others. With Blunders, parents can help kids learn basic, everyday manners. You know, the ones they all should learn – table manners, proper introductions, expressing gratitude for unwanted gifts (more socks from grandma!) – but that sometimes get lost in the mix.

 What we thought

The small people and I absolutely loved this game! Players work their way to the Mannerly's Pool Party by answering questions about table manners, telephone etiquette, proper behavior when visiting friends, etc. We made teams of the ones who aren't strong readers with those who read well. Even little Sassy Pants knew the answers for most of the questions. (Now if I can just get them to use these manners since they've proven that they know what to do.)

Some of the cards had funny consequences for having "bad manners." On one, Little Red had to make a funny face.

Nitty-Gritty Details

Blunders can be found at Patch Products for $24.99. Patch Products not only sells this fun game about manners, but also sells a variety of games, puzzles, and activities. They also carry Lauri and Smethport products. I highly recommend checking out their website!

I received a free copy of Blunders to review. All opinions given were my own, and I only recommend products that I use personally and believe would be good for my readers.
