New Year's Eve = Game Night

For the past few years, we've celebrated New Year's Eve by watching football and playing games. I love playing games. First, it gives us something to do together as a family. Second, it helps develop things like learning to take turns, being a good sport, and a healthy dose of being competitive.

Here are some ideas for games to incorporate into your New Year's Eve (or any other evening):

There are many family-friendly board games where everyone can get involved - Scattergories, Apples to Apples, Pictionary - just to name a few. Charades is also a fun game that everyone can play, regardless of age.

Board Games
Our Favorite Games - Tales of a Pee Dee Mama - A list of our 5 favorite board games

Winter Friends Place Race - Little Learning Lovies - This cute winter-themed place value game can be played by all ages. It's available as a PDF download that you can start playing right away.

Active Games
Snot Shot - Crystal's Tiny Treasures - This game with a cute name will be great for those with young small people. It's great for coordination and all you need are some pom-poms (or clothespins) and a can or jar

Cheesy Head - My Joy-Filled Life -This game involving shower caps, shaving cream, and cheese puffs can get a little messy so be prepared! :)
