Yearly Membership at - Review Review I recently joined The Old Schoolhouse Review Crew, and I'm so excited to share with you the first experience I've had as a Crew member. Members of the Crew were given a Yearly Membership to to review.

All I can say is - AMAZING! There are so many incredible resources at this Christian homeschool curriculum site. I know it's cliche, but I'm a big fan of not reinventing the wheel. Now I don't have to when I want to supplement what I'm already using for curriculum.

I said above that there are many incredible resources at Here are just some of them:
  • Courses - There are over 100 courses, many offering at least a full year of content. Courses are listed under the headings of Pre-K/Elementary and Middle/High School so you can choose ones that will be the best fit for your small people. Some of the offerings under Pre-K/Elementary include Art Techniques, French, Guitar, and Nature/Outdoors. Some of the courses offered at the Middle/High School level include Architecture, Film Making, Mock Trial, and Renaissance History. Each course page has a block showing the length of the course, the topics covered, and the appropriate ages like this one from the Film Making page:
  • Dailies - There are over 25 topics of daily activities to use with your small people. You can choose from academics like math, grammar, writing, and spelling practice as well as some fun topics like games, art studies, and hands-on activities. There's also an Everyday Organization topic. Who doesn't need to work on organization everyday? I know I do!
  • Parent Resources - This is probably my favorite part of Here you can find daily menu ideas. I love this because I'm always looking for new meal ideas for my family. There are also planners to help organize your homeschool. You can choose from the Schoolhouse Planner, which contains a variety of helpful forms; the Special Learners planner, for those of us schooling small people with special needs; the Primary Planner; the Intermediate Planner; or the High School Planner. Just choose the one that best fits your needs.
How I've Used So Far:

Sassy and I have been using the Everyday Games to help reinforce math skills. Her favorites are ones where we compare 2- and 3-digit numbers. It's really helped her understand the concepts of greater than and less than. She loves playing the game so much that she gets disappointed when I don't have it printed off to play at math time.

Ballerina has been wanting to learn to play the flute. I know that she needs to start with a good knowledge of music theory. We started with the lessons at, and she's made great progress in her knowledge of note names and musical terms. There are 32 weekly lessons, so we still have several to go through.

Memberships at can be either monthly for $12.95/month or yearly for $139. Even better is that right now is offering a huge sale until Christmas Day at 11:59pm ET. You can get the monthly membership for just $7.77/month (a 40% savings) or the yearly member for just $64.26 (a 50% savings), Simply click on the banner to get to the specials page. Review
