2015 A to Z Challenge

For the past 2 years, I have participated in the AtoZ Challenge. While it definitely IS a challenge to come up with a new post for each letter of the alphabet for the month of April, it's also a lot of fun.

Two years ago, my theme was homeschooling. Last year, my theme was animal crafts. I'm not sharing yet what my theme will be this year.

Who will join me in the AtoZ challenge? Make sure you add your blog on the challenge list.

Sunday Thoughts: We Are Witnesses

What are the characteristics of a good Christian? I'm sure most people would answer that question by saying, "Someone who follows Jesus. Someone who does what Jesus did and obeys what Jesus said to do."

Happy Birthday, Little Red!

Today is my sweet, fun-loving, giggly little girl's 10th birthday. I love my Little Red! Her spunky, free spirit lights up an entire room.

One benefit of homeschooling is that we can take the day off from school to celebrate the birthday person. Today we will be doing things that Little Red wants to do.

Sunday Thoughts: We Are the Light of the World

I teach a ladies' Sunday School class at my church. Each week, we are given a lesson to teach. Usually we get the lesson the Sunday before we are supposed to teach it, which gives me a week to read through it, meditate on it, and add my own little touches (examples, personalizing, etc.).

After mulling over a lesson for a week, I usually have an explosion of thoughts in my head. You get to be privy to those thoughts here. (Aren't you lucky? Ha Ha!)

Some Great Deals

This post may contain affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, you may be supporting my curriculum purchasing addiction. You've been warned. LOL And thank you for clicking through to purchase.

We've just passed Christmas, and if you're like I am, your pocketbook took a serious hit with gift buying. That doesn't mean I don't want to find new homeschooling resources, though. I've found some great deals, including several freebies to pass along to you.

How to Raise a Not-So-Picky Eater

Growing up, I was a picky eater. Actually, I still AM a picky eater. I decided to make a point of trying to keep my small people from becoming picky eaters themselves.
