Koru Naturals Review #2

Koru Naturals Review
A few months ago I got to review 2 products from Koru Naturals - the Emu Oil and the Koolpurrie Restoring Balm. Needless to say, when I was given the opportunity to review additional products from Koru Naturals, I jumped at the chance. This time around I got to experience the benefits of manuka honey.

For this review, we received
One of the things that impressed me about Koru Naturals the last time I reviewed their items was their use of natural substances in their products. Here is a brief list of some of their ingredients:
  • Emu Oil
  • Manuka Honey
  • Lanolin
  • Rosehip Oil
  • Australian Sandalwood
Manuka Honey Propolis Soap
 Koru Naturals Review

As a homeschooling mama of 5 busy small people, I don't have a lot of time to pamper myself. I've traded in days at a spa for trips to soccer games, cross country meets, and dance classes; I wouldn't trade those things for anything. Instead of going to the spa, I try to pamper myself at home.

The Manuka Honey Propolis Soap is definitely my new favorite way to pamper myself. First of all, this soap smells amazing! I am extremely sensitive to smells, so it's a special treat to find a soap with a pleasant aroma that isn't overpowering. This soap is made from a combination of manuka honey and propolis, and that combination creates the perfect soap for me.

Second, it leaves my skin so soft and smooth. Right after I received my items from Koru Naturals, I started using this soap in my morning and evening routines to wash my face. I don't think my face has ever felt so soft. (Well, maybe when I was a baby, but I don't quite remember that. Ha ha!)

Skin Clear Cream

 Koru Naturals Review
With preteens and teenagers in my house, we have a huge need for the Koru Naturals Skin Clear Cream. This cream is a combination of manuka honey and manuka oil. In addition to these 2 ingredients, Skin Clear Cream contains kawakawa, harakeke, burdock root, thyme, and Canadian aspen bark.

One of my children has really had a problem with breakouts on her face. She started using it right after we received it and found that it has helped to clear up her skin. She likes it because it doesn't leave her face feeling greasy or oily.

Emu Oil Shampoo and Emu Oil Leave-In Conditioner

 Koru Naturals Review
First let me talk about the shampoo. Some of the ingredients include emu oil (obviously), white willowbark, German chamomile extract, red clover extract, and elderberry extract. This results in a lovely fragrant shampoo. My only negative about the shampoo is that there isn't more of it. I have longer thick hair, and using it daily, I've gone through it rather quickly.

For years I have been searching for a conditioner that would leave my hair soft and detangled while not feeling greasy or heavy. I think I've finally found one! To use it, you simply shake well and spray on damp hair, concentrating on the ends. Some of the ingredients found in the conditioner are emu oil, aloe leaf juice, keratin, and pro vitamin B5.

The shampoo and conditioner are designed to help repair damaged hair. I have definitely seen an improvement in the health of my hair since I started using them.
